"Think of what our parents and ancestors went through to provide the opportunities we’ve had." I copied your statement because for me it resonates strongly. I am from a long time farming family in Santa Clara County, California, now called Silicon Valley. My ancestors were part of witnessing the growth of an agricultural paradise into a technological world hub. Ironic as I sit here missing the vast fruit orchards as I type this on an Apple iMac. They had the courage to continue on, adapting with the changing landscape which has helped cultivate great minds side by side an enduring respect for nature.
I love that story, Kathleen. I can’t even imagine how much the landscape must have changed around the places where you grew up. I think how different it must be where you drove around as you first got started driving. I’m sure your land is gorgeous and I’m so glad you have that special land. Are things recovering after the fires a few years ago?
